Day 3
ABSOLUTELY HUGE DAY
I have done so much today, its been exhausting but so worth it.
I was just aiming to get some ghost foundations done, but I have done so much more.
First, and most importantly the level design is done. Well not DONE done, but there is a solid foundation here I just need to decorate.
Then On top of that, I messed around with the lighting and fog settings and found something I really like:
(Its clearer in game i promise)
That's just the scenery, to go along with it, four ghosts have been developed:
Basics:
The boring basic blue ghost. These move randomly around the scene with no special powers
Peekaboo's:
These ghosts are really fast, and always hide behind gravestones away from the player.
Splitters:
These huge balloons are very slow, and like to hide out higher in the sky. If you manage to kill one, it will explode into loads of the smaller splitees
Splitees:
These tiny tricky little ghosts explode out of splitters at breakneck paces and are hard to see, and harder to catch.
To be able to fight the ghosts, three weapons have also been added.
The scythe and sword act very similar, slice and dice the ghost
The wand however shoots disc projectiles to hit the ghosts at a range
TOMORROW:
I need to figure out the end goal of the game. That's scary
