Day 2


Day 2, I needed to create the ability to grab objects.

This was a pain, and left me rebuilding all of the hand animations and physics I built yesterday.

But now hands will not phase through objects, we are fighting ghosts not one our selves (OR ARE WE MUHAHAHAHA). These new hands use physics to follow the controller, so the world will feel a lot more interactive.

Then I needed to build the functionality for grabbing and dropping objects. For now, this is just a scythe from the weapon asset pack I have selected. It took me a few hours, but its been built and works quite well. Still quite janky, but an acceptable level of jank given the time frame.


Tomorrow i want to start building the ghosts, This will mean making them in blender and maybe giving them some really simple movement scripts. I only have a few hours tomorrow so its yet to be seen how much I will be able to do.
